Since it's been so long since I've added photos to the blog, I've got to do this in chronological order so that you can watch how Avery has changed over the past several months. She sure has changed her mommy and daddy, that's for sure!
Avery learned to read at quite an early age, this photo(taken by surprise cause she didn't want us to know she could read already) was snapped at the early age of 8 months! Currently she's working on her first kids story....
Avery has also become quite friendly with her new best friend, Hudson. Here they are struck with surprise as mommy has just pulled out some new toys!
Most importantly though, it's finally warmed up here in Chicago and I think we can kiss those cold days goodbye - at least the ones that come with snow. What does that mean?
Daddy gets to take Avery to the park to play!!!
Avery is really loving having the park in our backyard(who needs a yard when you have a park). She likes to swing while mommy or daddy pushes here higher and higher.
I'd have to say she likes her little pink hat, it really compliments her skin tone...8-)
And for those of you who wondered, yes, Foster and Avery are getting along just fine!
She seems that she's starting to say a few words here and there but who knows, maybe dada means something else in kid talk. Make sure to say bye bye when you leave cause Avery is likely to respond with the similar sounding dy dy with a small wave.
With that...I can't even say I'll blog again soon cause you've seen my track record!!
Again, I've done a poor job at getting this updated but I figure(again), better late than never.
While Avery does think that Daddy rocks, she wasn't the happiest with Mommy giving her green beans. Our little girl started off liking the rice cereal but didn't take too quickly to the green beans.
For Xmas, Avery wanted to dress up as Santa so she could hand out all the presents, she didn't have the beard but she did have the outfit(in dress form of course)
She has become quite the thinker in her time on blankets and playing with toys...
Avery has decided that she wants to start working on her pilates certification and is now doing situps with Daddy holding her feet!
That's all for now! Hopefully it's not 3 months before I post again...I'll try harder, I promise...
The cousins finally got to meet a few weekends ago and as you can see, they took a liking to each other right away. Jack, even though 6 days younger, has already started to protect his cousin and vowed to never let anyone hurt her as long as he's around (as you can see he's already got her under his wing): While on her own though, she thinks that she can be mobile and get this rolling over thing down but it's only happened a few times. I'm sure she'll be a terror soon enough and all into things she knows she shouldn't be into.
Since it's almost Halloween now we decided to get Avery started early with dressing up!
She's a happy little bumblebee and she definitely likes to buzz. I didn't realize that babies could make so much noise but she definitely is a talker.
I'll try to keep this blog a bit more up to date as our little girl grows and starts to do more mischievous things but for now I'll sign off with those updates. Take care!
It's been a hectic week for the Lee household. We've closed on our old condo, moved into a new condo but couldn't close due to our broker "miscommunicating" with the lender, and yet still we can stay happy each day when we see our little girl smile so big!
Hopefully we can finish all closings and finalize a new home for our little girl to grow all big in.
